Drew Barrymore Flower Powder Up Loose Powder Review
I've been using Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder for about 4-5 years now, and it's my all-time favorite powder; it's the only powder I continously used. However since it was pretty pricey for me to keep repurchasing it, I decided to look for a more affordable version. And from my knowledge and experience, it's very tough to find a good drugstore loose powder since drug stores mostly carry pressed powders which I'm not very fond of. I don't like pressed powders because when I used to have a lot of acne all over my cheeks, I used a pressed powder and it didn't go on smoothly, it seemed to enhance the pimples and leave streak marks so from that I always stayed away from pressed powders.
I used Loreal's Translucide Loose Powder and it was a disaster. They didn't have a wide color selection, so I had to mix two of their powders to create a shade which didn't even come close to my skin tone, and I just didn't like the feel of it when I applied and had it on, so I decided to toss it. So after trying that powder, I really didn't know what to try out next. I always get really scared of trying new make up products, especially from the drugstore in fear of break outs. So when Drew Barrymore came out with her Flower Make Up Collection, and I saw the packaging and noticed she had a loose powder in her collection. I was immediately sold when I saw the rose gold and white packaging. I purchased it online for about $10. The powder comes with a powder puff but I use my kabuki brush instead to apply the powder. I gently pat the powder on instead of brushing it onto my skin.
The shade is a great match for my skin tone. It's not an exact dupe for Laura Mercier Translucent loose powder, but it's so perfect for me and my skin tone. I love this powder so much more, especially because it's so much more affordable. It doesn't break me out, and it goes out smoothly. The packaging is also so beautiful. I love the white and rose gold packaging. It's very classy and elegant. A lot of people were saying it's very bulky and big, but I really like it. I think it could be considered bulky and big when traveling if you're trying to fit all your make up in a cosmetic bag but other than that, I am in love with everything about the powder.

About $10 at Walmart. I'm in the shade LO2
I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin

Pros:
• Beautiful Packaging
• Non messy, easy application packaging
• Doesn't break me out
• Goes on smoothly
• Very affordable
• Best drugstore loose powder I've ever used
Cons:
• Packaging could be considered bulky if you travel a lot
• Not a wide variety of shade selection
